   "For baby-boomers, there is both good news and bad news about the cognitive health of the aging brain, according to this National Public Radio report. Here's the bad news: Reaction time is slower, it takes us longer to learn new information, and also to retrieve information. But the good news is that our complex reasoning skills improve, so we're able to anticipate problems and reason things out better than when we were young. And, our empathy — the ability to understand the emotional point of view of another - increases as we age."
