This feature-length DVD focuses on the fingerstyle guitar technique of three jazz masters, each offering his own distinctive approach and sound. Jim Nichols plays in a style reminiscent of Joe Pass, featuring a bebop meld of walking bass lines, melodies, and chords. Craig Wagner applies his warp-speed three-fingered scale techniques on his seven-string guitar to a mix of traditional jazz repertoire and the pop stylings of Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Tim Thompson brings a unique edge to the groove of traditional swing while playing solo and using a looping device. The diverse selection of songs includes "Stella by Starlight," "Blue Bayou," "Billie Jean," "Summertime," "Song for My Father," and the "Andy Griffith Show Theme Song."
