Along with a tenor sax/drums/organ quartet, guitar maestro Jimmy Bruno performs eight jazz standards, including "Eternal Triangle," "Darn That Dream," "But Not for Me," "Milestones," "Lover Man," "Segment," and "I'll Remember April." Bruno's distinctive style came in part from listening to pianist Oscar Peterson and orchestral violinists, he told Guitar Player. "Those guys could really play their instruments and inspired me to work on violin material by Fiorillo, Kreutzer, and Paganini. That's probably where my technique came from."
