The Broadway segments of these telecasts feature songs from Subways Are for Sleeping and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying aired prior to the shows' opening nights. The tunes from musicals include "Take Me Along," "Till Tomorrow," "Once Knew a Fellow," "The Sound of Music," "Small World," "Comes Once in a Lifetime," "Sail Away," "Paris Original," and "Love From a Heart of Gold," while in the "Hit Songs From Stage, Screen and Tin Pan Alley" portion are "I Want a Girl (Just Like the Girl That Married Dear Old Dad)," "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," "Indian Summer," "Howdy Neighbor, Happy Harvest," "Shine On, Harvest Moon," "Who Can I Turn To (When Nobody Needs Me)?"
