The ruggedly handsome actor and singer Howard Keel began his Broadway career with leading roles in two concurrent hit musicals: Oklahoma! and Carousel (as understudy for John Raitt). On occasion, he played both roles in a single day! In Hollywood, Keel starred in Annie Get Your Gun, Kiss Me, Kate, Calamity Jane, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Rose Marie, and Kismet. When Keel sings "They Say That Falling in Love Is Wonderful" or "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," he engenders total belief. Alongside a segment of Christmas songs, this anthology includes an extensive tribute to Richard Rodgers ("Have You Met Miss Jones?"
