Description
|
|
|
|
A troubled young man, Robert Forrester (Paddy Considine), retreats from the big city after a mental breakdown and a bitter divorce from his sadistic ex-wife (Caroline Dhavernas), and resettles in a remote small town, where one of its residents, Jenny Thierolf (Julia Stiles), becomes inexplicably attracted to him. But when her sometimes-violent boyfriend (Gordon Rand) goes missing, Forrester becomes the immediate suspect, as a game of jealousy and betrayal turns deadly. This 2009 psychological thriller is based on Patricia Highsmith's 1962 novel of the same name.
