Danish opera singer Henrik Krogh Christensen (1946–2010) made this recording with his wife, organist Ingegard Bogh, in the early 2000s in Blackfriars Church in Viborg. These overlooked sacred songs by Gottfred and Frederick Matthison-Hansen, Jacob Fabricius, Asger Hamerik, Betty Federhof-Møller, Alfred Toft, and Adam Krygell are well worth discovering, and the combination of cello and organ with voice is highly appealing.
