Description
|

|
|
Alice Faye stars in this 1941 musical comedy as department store clerk Nan Spencer, who threatens to cause trouble when the cruise ship she's on runs aground and her vacation is ruined. John Payne plays Jay Williams, the liner's executive, who must postpone his wedding to secure passenger waivers against lawsuits. As compensation, he offers Nan a trip to Havana, puts her in a lavish hotel, buys her an extravagant wardrobe, and supplies her with gambling money. While having the vacation of her life, she receives some unexpected attention from a conniving gambler (Cesar Romero) and his girlfriend (Carmen Miranda).
