Description

|
|
This 1976 film noir spoof, based on a novel by Keith Laumer, stars Michael Caine as Los Angeles private eye Leslie Tucker, hired by a wealthy man named Anglich (Michael Constantine) to find his long-lost daughter. Tucker's sleuthing brings him in contact with a dizzying array of eccentric and vaguely dangerous characters, but he comes no closer to finding the missing daughter until he encounters the quirky Prendergast family. He comes to believe that one of two women (Natalie Wood and Kitty Winn) living with the Prendergasts may well be Anglich's daughter. But which one?
