Description

|
|
This 2007 remake of the hit Italian romantic comedy from 2001 stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Kate Armstrong, the workaholic master chef of an upscale Manhattan restaurant whose orderly existence is overturned when her sister is killed in an accident, leaving Kate to care for her nine-year-old niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin). Even more unsettling is the arrival of fun-loving, opera-singing sous chef Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart), whom Kate perceives as a potential rival. Things come to a head when Zoe's fragile state creates problems at school and Nick's free-spirited approach to cooking threatens Kate's control at the restaurant.
