Description
|
|
|
|
Based on a story by Steven Spielberg, scripted by Chris Columbus, and directed by Richard Donner, this 1985 swashbuckler also featured the screen debuts of Sean Astin and Josh Brolin, among the seven young "Goonies" who attempt to save their neighborhood from greedy developers. A mysterious treasure map leads them into a spectacular underground realm of twisting passages, outrageous booby traps, and a long-lost pirate ship full of golden doubloons. Also included is the two-part Cyndi Lauper "Goonies R Good Enough" music video, starring the Goonies cast, the Bangles as lady pirates, and André the Giant!
