By 1956, Davis's Harmon mute on songs like "My Funny Valentine" was an achingly personal counterpart to the vocals of Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra. He and Coltrane both rev their engines on the uptempo number "Tune Up"; other classic tracks include "Just Squeeze Me," "'Round Midnight," "Four," "Well You Needn't," "In Your Own Sweet Way," "Oleo," "Airegin," and "You're My Everything."
