This two-disc collection brings together 30 classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies animated shorts released from the 1930s through the 60s, as well as eight bonus shorts from the Warner Bros. animation archives. The first DVD, "Cartoon Superstars," contains shorts from all of the studio's biggest stars: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester and Tweety Pie, Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner, Foghorn Leghorn, and Pepé Le Pew. The second disc, "One-Hit Wonders" presents such unusual one-offs as Friz Freleng's Lights Fantastic, in which NYC billboards come to life, and Tex Avery's art deco delight Page Miss Glory.
