Drawn from the career of one of Hollywood's greatest choreographers, this Busby Berkeley collection comprises nine films from his 1930s heyday as well as an entire disc of just dance routines. From 1933 come Footlight Parade, Gold Diggers of 1933 (Oscar-nominated for Best Sound), and Best Picture nominee 42nd Street. The set includes all three films for which he received Academy Award nominations: Gold Diggers of 1937, Varsity Show (1937), and Gold Diggers of 1935, featuring the Oscar-winning song "Lullaby of Broadway." Rounding out the collection are Dames (1934), Hollywood Hotel (1937), and Gold Diggers in Paris (1938).
