|
|
Tim Burton brings a darker, more mature vision to his 1992 sequel, which earned Academy Award nominations for special effects and makeup. This time, the Dark Knight (Michael Keaton) must save Gotham from two villains: the freakish, cruel Penguin (Danny DeVito) and the slinky, vengeful Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer), who is romantically attracted to Batman's alter ego, Bruce Wayne, but hell-bent on revenge against Penguin's business partner Max Shreck (Christopher Walken). This two-disc Special Edition contains commentary from Burton, two making-of featurettes, a cinematic history of the Batman character, and a Siouxsie and the Banshees music video.
