Eccentric with a dangerous edge, Dennis Hopper, throughout a five-decade career, portrayed virtually every shade of deranged. This three-film collection contains three of his scariest performances. Hopper's drug-addicted sadist in Blue Velvet earned him a Golden Globe nomination and helped director David Lynch to his third Oscar nominination for the landmark 1986 film. In the same year, Hopper played a drug dealer for an emotionally detached gang of teen murderers in River's Edge, a nominee for the Grand Jury prize at Sundance. In Chattahoochee (1990), he plays one of the more dangerous crazies within a "maximum security" mental health prison.
