"A versatile musician with boundless energy" (Fanfare), early music specialist Valentin Radu has recently celebrated the silver anniversary of his Ama Deus Ensemble, based in Philadelphia. In his youth, he performed as a soloist with major orchestras and was also the organist at the Cathedral of Bucharest. Zestful accounts of three of Handel's most popular suites (one debuted at a peace celebration at Green Park and the other two on a barge on the Thames) are accompanied by a warm and detailed rendition of the Organ Concerto.
