Description
|

|
|
When an unsolvable crime surfaces in Hong Kong, a young hotshot detective (Andy On) finds himself way over his head. His only hope of cracking the case is to drag his former boss and mentor, Inspector Bun (Lau Ching Wan), out of retirement. Secluded, highly unorthodox, and teetering on the edge of insanity, Bun has an uncanny knack for reading people and solving crimes, but treads a fine line between reality and delusion. Codirector Ka-Fai Wai's smart, unconventional script for this 2007 film took top honors at both the Asian and Hong Kong Film Awards. In Cantonese with English subtitles.
