Description

|
After suffering a nervous breakdown, straight-laced Copenhagen cop Robert Hansen (Jakob Cedergren) is reassigned to a remote small town inhabited by a collection of strange, enigmatic characters. When someone dies and Hansen knows that the prime suspect is innocent, he halts vigilante justice and becomes a potential target himself. A modern noir comedy, in the tradition of the Coen brothers, this 2008 film won five Bodil awards (Danish "Oscars"), including Best Picture, Best Actor (Cedergren), Best Actress (Lene Maria Christensen), and Best Supporting Actor (Kim Bodnia).
