William Coulter’s lilting interpretation of “Baby Elephant Walk” was one of the tracks on Henry Mancini: Pink Guitar, a Grammy winner for best instrumental pop recording. His first love is Celtic music though, and his interpretations of these jigs, reels, and airs reflect his deep reverence for tradition, along with the unique creative response he and his friends bring to bear on each song. The tunes include “The Lark in the Morning,” “Sí bheag, Sí mhór,” “Banish Misfortune,” the haunting “Lagan Love,” and “Ay Linda Amiga” from Celtic Spain.
