Description

|
Adapted from playwright Alan Bennett's original Tony Award–winning play and starring the original Tony Award–winning cast, this witty, thought-provoking 2006 film (nominated for two BAFTA film awards) follows eight boisterous yet talented schoolboys hoping to gain admittance to England's most prestigious universities. They're aided in their quest by two teachers, a shrewd young upstart (Stephen Campbell Moore) and an inspiring old eccentric (Richard Griffiths), whose opposing philosophies challenge the boys to confront the true meaning of education and the relative values of happiness and success.
