Before launching her solo career, this undeservedly obscure chanteuse from Pittsburgh was a vocalist in the mid 1950s with the Charlie Spivak Orchestra. Rogers parlayed her strong, richly hued voice into six pop chart hits, including "Miracle of Love," "Treasure of Your Love," "Give Me," "I Wish I Didn't Have to Dream So Far," "The Wall," "Don't Call Me Sweetie (Cause I'm Bitter)," and "Third Finger—Left Hand." This 24-track anthology also includes "A Little Bit Bluer," "This Day," "Crazy Dream," "Brand New Heartache," "'Til Tomorrow" (from the Broadway show Fiorello), and "I Never Know When to Say When" (written for the musical Goldilocks, with music by Leroy Anderson).
