One of the most popular European comic strips of all time chronicles the heroic escapades of youthful reporter Tintin and his loyal canine companion Snowy. The characters were created in 1929 by Belgian artist Hergé, and Tintin's adventures subsequently appeared in books, magazines, and TV and radio programs. The animated TV series The Adventures of Tintin first appeared on HBO in 1991 and featured Tintin and Snowy solving mysteries closely related to the much-loved original stories. This two-disc collection contains all episodes from the show's first season and features a colorful cast of supporting characters including the salty Captain Haddock and the handy Professor Calculus.
