Description

|
|
This 2000 remake of the 1971 original features Sylvester Stallone in the Michael Caine role (Jack Carter) as a mob enforcer who returns to his hometown (Seattle, in this case) after the suspicious death of his brother. But when his sister-in-law (Miranda Richardson) and niece (Rachel Leigh Cook) are terrorized by unknown assailants, Carter goes on the warpath to defend them and bring to justice those responsible for the death of his brother. Mickey Rourke costars as an Internet porn baron; Alan Cumming plays a Bill Gates–like computer genius, and Caine resurfaces briefly as a sleazy nightclub owner.
