Ignaz Moscheles's Fantasy, Variations and Finale for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, written in 1819, is more of a rarity. Brown has fun with the piano cadenza that dominates the Fantasy section, but all the players evidently enjoy the banter of the ensuing variations on a Bohemian folk-song.
