Following a hugely successful HBO special, Saturday Night Live veteran Dana Carvey was rewarded with his own network sketch comedy show in 1996. The program comprised topical skits, short films, and animated segments, like "The Ambiguously Gay Duo," and included the comedic talents of SNL comedian/writer Robert Smigel, Oscar-winning writer Charlie Kaufman, and two unknown (at the time) comics, Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert. This two-disc set includes all seven episodes aired on ABC, over-the-top deleted scenes, an interview with Carvey and Smigel, and the unaired eighth episode with guest star Abe Vigoda.
