Description
|

|
|
The third of Clint Eastwood's five Dirty Harry movies, from 1976, teams Detective Callahan with a new partner, Inspector Kate Moore (Tyne Daly). This time around, a group of disgruntled Vietnam vets kidnap San Francisco's mayor (John Crawford) and demand a $2 million ransom. Harry is none too pleased to be matched up with a female partner, but she eventually earns his respect as they track the terrorists to their hideout at Alcatraz prison. This Deluxe Edition includes commentary by first-time director James Fargo and featurettes on the cinematic impact of the Dirty Harry character and the debate over movie violence.
