His oeuvre is solidly built on loyalty to such themes as space, memory, landscape, and the void, and he has adapted these to the preoccupations that have emerged as his work has evolved. Illustrated with 160 color plates and 33 black and white figures, this book brings together Hernández Pijuan's pictorial work from the early 1970s to the end of the century, as it was exhibited at the Cervantes Institute, Milan, and the Kunstverein in Frankfurt.
