|

Ryan Gosling, in a Golden Globe–nominated performance, stars as Stephen Myers, an idealistic press secretary for longshot presidential candidate Mike Morris (Clooney), whose groundbreaking ideas threaten to upset the political status quo. But after a brutal Ohio primary tests Morris's integrity, Myers finds himself in the middle of a scandal, where the only path to survival is to play both sides.
