Even if you can't read Dutch, the pieces depicted are remarkable, from a 1668 German glass, exquisitely painted with a half-timbered hall in Bavaria, to a 1758 wineglass whose sculpted handle—a tiny silver windmill, complete with figures—prevents the glass from being put down until it is empty.
