"The day the snow kept on falling" imagines a snowman so big that he could be a house; "The day I fell asleep under new sheets" turns into a dream of skiing down perfect alpine slopes; and "The day I found myself in the bathroom in the middle of the night" becomes a fantasy of deep-sea creatures swimming in an aquarium-like room. You could say that this is a book for youngsters 3 to 7, but open-minded adults could find a few thoughts here to meditate upon as well, and Miura's superb silkscreen images, like posters from the mid-20th century, are delightful for all ages.
