|
Starving student and Vietnam veteran Harry Bailey (Elliott Gould) is just weeks from getting his cherished master's degree when student protests break out on campus. Torn between the stodgy establishment, his acid-dropping antiwar pals, and girlfriend Jan's (Candice Bergen) ambivalence toward marriage, Harry must choose between his teaching career and his idealistic beliefs. Harrison Ford makes a surprise cameo appearance in this 1970 exemplar of the hippie film genre. Another of Sony's series of Martini Movies, the DVD comes with two shorts, "Secrets of Seduction" and "Secrets of Deception," as well as a recipe for a Lava Lamp Martini.
