"We get a swaggering Getz burning his way on bari through an uptempo 'Anything Goes' and digging for R&B punctuations on a jaunty 'Too Close for Comfort' with Mulligan blowing pungent tenor lines alongside him. The two flow together like longtime section mates on a lovely 'Let's Fall in Love' and they engage in some spirited trading on a spirited midtempo take on 'That Old Feeling.'… Their fiery and fluid renditions of 'This Can't Be Love' and 'Scrapple From the Apple' are the sound of unbound enthusiasm, like kids turning cartwheels and backflips on the beach.
