This is the first collection profiling Davis's Third Great Quintet. Never recorded in the studio, the so-called "Lost" Band of 1968–1970 (with Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette) are heard at their peak. The album captures the short-lived quintet in three separate concert settings: two hour-long sets at the Antibes Jazz Festival in France; in Stockholm as part of "The Newport Jazz Festival In Europe"; and, on DVD, a stunning performance filmed in color at the Berlin Philharmonie. Selections include "Miles Runs the Voodoo Down," "Milestones," "'Round Midnight," "Spanish Key," "I Fall in Love Too Easily," "No Blues," "Nefertiti," "Bitches Brew," "The Theme," and more.
