This intimate look at the artistry of two legendary dancers begins with a live, 1988 performance of Donald Saddler’s The Rehearsal, in which Gregory and Bujones reminisce about their careers and perform scenes from some of their greatest triumphs. Next is a fully staged performance of Act III (The Wedding) from Coppélia as choreographed by Roni Mahler. The DVD also has a bonus interview with Cynthia Gregory from the series Words on Dance.
"The statuesque Gregory invariably demonstrates both great elegance and precision, while Bujones’s energetic athleticism puts him clearly in the virtuoso class. They are probably seen at their best in the pas de deux from Don Quixote (which Gregory remembers as one of their most productive partnerships)…. Gregory emerges as a very fine raconteur indeed, full of funny stories about her life and career."—MusicWeb International
