American opera great (and Kennedy Center Honoree) Grace Bumbry sings a mixed program of German lieder in homage to her teacher, legendary soprano Lotte Lehmann. Selections include Schubert's Die Taubenpost, Brahms' Auf dem Kirchhofe, and Strauss's Standchen. Bumbry retired from staged opera in 1997, but she still sings in recital and teaches young singers.
