This wonderful performance of Schubert's great song cycle by Christa Ludwig (was there anything she couldn't do?) was recorded for television in 1994. A bonus feature shows the legendary singer conducting a Mozart master class and in historical footage as Dorabella in Coś fan tutte. "An astonishing realization of the human condition.
