Celebrating the 50th auction by Jack Rennert and his team, this 2010 catalog sports a gold and black laminated hardcover with an inset image by Walter Schnackenberg, one of the featured artists in this edition. Here too are full-page reproductions by Paul Colin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and a number of Marcello Dudovich images for Napoli's Mele department store. Rennert, a world-renowned poster collector and dealer, is the owner of the New York City–based Poster Auctions International. The oversized catalogs produced by his auction house are collectibles in themselves, with beautiful color reproductions (older editions have both color and black and white plates) and detailed, knowledgeable descriptions of hundreds of rare posters and prints. Together the volumes form an encyclopedia of the commercial poster.
