Description

|
Forty-year-old Andreas (Trond Fausa Aurvåg) arrives in a strange city with no memory of how he got there. He is presented with a job, an apartment—even a wife. But before long, he notices that something is deeply wrong. He attempts to escape the city, but there appears to be no way out until he meets Hugo (Per Schaaning) and discovers a mysterious crack in the wall of his cellar from which beautiful music emerges. This 2006 black comedy from Norwegian filmmaker Jens Lien won a slew of film festival awards, three Amandas (Norwegian "Oscars"), and the Directors' Jury Award at Cannes. In Norwegian with English subtitles.
