Culled from 240 hours of John Lennon's home videos and interviews, much of it never seen in public, this haunting documentary chronicles the former Beatle's 40 short years, with an emphasis on the period, 1970–71, immediately after the band's demise. Lennon's own voice provides the narration and 36 of his songs appear on the monumental soundtrack. This Deluxe Edition also includes the documentary tribute John Lennon: The Man, the Music, the Memories; a never-before-released performance of "Imagine" with Lennon on acoustic guitar; island house footage from John and Yoko's Tittenhurst estate; a BBC radio interview; and another interview with the headmaster of Lennon's grammar school.
